A typical new patient acupuncture visit includes an interview with the patient about their health history and time to answer any questions/concerns about how acupuncture works. A treatment may include customized care emphasizing herbal medicine, dietary, and exercise planning that complements an acupuncture treatment plan specific to each patient. The first visit and follow up treatments will focus on acupuncture with time to rest and relax. Follow up acupuncture visits are 1 hour and omit the initial intake process. The main focus of treatment is always the patient's main concern.

You may also select a Virtual appointments for Chinese Herbal Medicine. This approach to herbal medicine is unique because it offers each patient customized formulas and convenient options for you such as raw medicinal teas, tinctured medicine (liquid extract in alcohol), teapills, and essential oils blends. Some examples of how herbal formulas work include strengthening your body's immunity, stopping pain in specific areas of the body, regulating menstrual cycle, balancing fertility/hormonal issues, post surgery recovery healing, etc.
